IF YOU HAVE COVID SYMPTOMS, PLEASE CALL NHS24 ON 111.

The front doors remain closed for now. Please do not come in to the surgery unless instructed to do so.

The surgery is working on an initial telephone consultation basis. You will be asked some questions by reception staff. Please give them as much information as you can. All staff are bound by a confidentiality agreement.

We really appreciated your patience and understanding in these difficult times.

Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results.

Please allow one week before calling for your blood results unless the Doctor or Nurse has advised you otherwise.

Please call 674545 between 2.30pm – 4.30pm for the results of blood tests, X-rays, etc.

It is your responsibility to call for your results and arrange an appointment with the Doctor if advised to do so.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.

Please do not ask the staff at the reception desk for details of your results as for reasons of confidentiality they are not authorised to give out this information. If you are going to require a copy of your results to take to a hospital appointment please advise the clinical member of staff who is taking the blood sample. They can arrange for a copy of the results to be available for your collection a week after the sample has been taken. This is to allow the GP to review the results. Reception staff cannot provide you with a copy of your results without authorisation by a clinician.
