You can telephone NHS24 directly on 111
When you call a Receptionist will take some details, then pass your call to a Nurse who will help you with your problem and will offer advice if appropriate. You may be asked to attend the Primary Care Treatment Centre based at Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine. If your condition requires a home visit, they will arrange this.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
