Home Visits

Doctor's bagHome visits are for patients who are housebound or too ill to come to the practice. Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible. Not having transport is not a reason to request a home visit. For more details please see our House Visit Leaflet

Please remember that facilities for examination and treatment are better at the practice.

Requests for home visits may be triaged by one of our advanced nurse practitioners (ANP) or GPs, who will give you advice or arrange for a visit by the appropriate person, ie. Doctor, ANP, District Nurse, etc. Please try to call before 10.30am and if you feel your call is urgent, please say so.
